Epic Equipment Wins Second Aam Award for Excellence

Detroit, Michigan – June 22, 2017– Epic Equipment & Engineering, a member of Burke Porter Group (BPG), recently received an award for excellence from American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM). Epic Equipment is a vertically integrated supplier of custom solutions for automotive powertrain products.

AAM, a designer and manufacturer of driveline, metal forming, powertrain and casting technologies, presented Supplier Excellence Awards to Epic Equipment and two other key supplier partners at its 23rd Annual Supplier Day (2017). The three companies were honored for their contributions to helping AAM achieve its overall business objectives while providing customers with the latest driveline and powertrain innovations.

Epic Equipment provides turnkey intelligent assembly automation and test systems, all designed, built, and programmed in-house, and installed by Epic personnel.

A two-time award recipient from AAM, Epic Equipment has expanded its capabilities from fabricating assembly lines to now offer AAM NVH and balancing equipment. The company supports AAM on its global projects.

AAM has presented Supplier Excellence Awards to exceptional suppliers each year since 1994. A team of AAM associates from procurement, engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing and materials management selected this year’s award winners based on AAM’s rating of its suppliers’ product quality, delivery, service, and technology leadership.
